Sample: Case study
This project highlights my strengths curating information across multiple departments to develop succinct and persuasive messaging. The background work required weeks of interviewing subject matter experts from account management, data analytics, and design. After speaking to colleagues, I distilled the narratives into short, punchy excerpts that were impactful for the target audience, which included brokers, prospective clients, and internal colleagues. I then worked with the graphic design team to create a suite of case studies that were visually compelling and informative.
Scripting
Sample: Video
I was asked by our department VP to develop a series of masterclass videos for enhancing the team's proficiency in the art of selling. The sample encompassed a meticulously crafted video script, accompanied by a complementary class handout. Collaborating closely with subject matter experts, I summarized their insights into pivotal strategies, which were disseminated on our company's internal resource center. The series is a popular on-demand asset and played a key role instructing over 150 sales colleagues at the national sales summit.
Research
Sample: Brochure
Here I demonstrated my ability to research complex technical information that translated into simplified content for end-users. The brochure was shared across business lines as a teaching tool to explain a complicated state-specific regulatory environment to internal colleagues, and as collateral to educate prospective clients on our service differentiators.
Digital content
Sample: Blog
In my spare time I author a niche blog about morbid history. Launched in 2016 with WordPress, this blog serves as a platform for my creative endeavors, fostering continual development of my research acumen. My enduring fascination with cemeteries and thanatology has been a driving force behind my intellectual pursuits. In this piece, I employ a feminist perspective to illuminate the once-common practice of home funeral preparations.
Innovation
Sample: Instructional design
As an innovative thinker, process improvements are at the forefront of my creative workflow. I noticed our corporate writers struggling to gather timely information about renewal clients. To help expedite communications with internal stakeholders, I developed a set of expectations and executive summary templates to assist teams when working on proposals. The tools were shared company-wide and are still used as part of the contract renewal process.
